Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need 1-step or 2-step?

1-step enhances gloss and removes light defects. It's best for newer or well-maintained vehicles. Ideal for customers wanting a noticeable improvement without a full correction. 2-step provides maximum gloss and defect removal. It's best for neglected, oxidized, or heavily swirled paint. Recommended before ceramic coating for best results.

Is paint correction required before ceramic coating?

Yes. Ceramic coating bonds to the paint surface, so any defects will be locked in. We recommend paint correction first for the best result. Learn about ceramic coating →

How long does the correction last?

Paint correction is permanent. We're removing a thin layer of clear coat. The finish will stay corrected as long as you maintain it with proper washing (hand wash, two-bucket method) and avoid automatic car washes with brushes.
